In this example I desaturated the image and then played about with the colours to see what effect I could create.
I basically changed the colours in random areas of the picture to create an abstract image.
The changes that can be achieved with this effect can be a lot mote subtle than the ones shown here.
If you look at the bottom left area of the image you can see a slight colouration on the clothing. Here I was trying to achieve an effect similar to the one used in the film “Schindler's list”, for the girl in the crowd.
It is possible to just colour certain areas of a picture such as a hat or
bag to make it stand out from the rest of the image. Original Black and white
pictures can also be recoloured using the same technique.
