In this picture there were scratch marks over the face which destroyed most of the right hand side of the nose and the face which spoiled an otherwise good photo.
The first thing I did was to crop the image as the background took away from the focus of the photo which should be the two central figures. It was cropped 6"X4" which was the original photo size.
Then the colour, brightness and contrast were tweaked a littile as the picture looked a little bit dull.
Next I began work on the damaged areas of the picture. The damage was quite concentrated on the nose so I had to reconstruct the right hand side. This was made easier to achieve as I had an undamaged picture for reference. Scratches from other areas of the face were also removed.
Lastly colour and contrast adjustments were made to finalise the image.
