This is an old picture that I have restored back to its original condition. Over the years the photo has faded and there are marks from where the picture had been bent and some water damage also. This picture had to be scanned through the glass as it could not be removed without damaging it further.
The first task with this picture was to remove all of the dust specs and small marks on the picture. These showed up more because of scanning through the glass.
Next it was time to tackle the water damage. I started on the faces and removed the marks. I then moved onto the rest of the picture and cleaned it up.
Contrast and brightness were adjusted to sharpen up the image a little then it was desaturated.
Finally a new colour filter was applied to give the picture an aged look again
